I've got two hoses (only one is complete on the fiero side) and no fiero. You have a PM.

These came with the car. I was told that some welding needed to be done to make one that will work with the 3800 and the 87 Fiero.

No welding. Just new hoses between the aluminum sections. If you sent me the reusable sections from those, a new set of 3800 ac hoses would cost 95 or 55 shipped to your door. 95 with the port for the sensor. 55 without.

Strait and too the point; Is this the only thing really needed to adapt the Fiero AC system to the 3800 sc? I should order a set if so. I just don't have the cores to send yet.

Sorry if this has already been answered in the thread.

Correct. Plug and play.
Of course you still have to have the wiring correct too. But other than that, this is all you need to connect the 3800 compressor to the Fiero A/C hard lines that run under the car.

#*#*#* Attention*#*#*#I only have about 4 or 5 more inline switch ports left. It will take a little while to get more made.
So get your name on the list if you need a set anytime soon.

I'm working on a couple sets where heat protection was desired. Here is a sneak peek...
I'm waiting for the smaller sized ferrules to get here so I can attach the high pressure hose. That's why there's only one hose connected right now.

The sleeves are called ThermaFlect by Heatshield Products.

It adds $75 to the overall cost. But these babies look like they're ready for the space program.

I got them. Your Fiero lines are froze up, refusing to swivel in the aluminum block. I have been successful in salvaging a set like this in the past but I had to soak them for a couple days to dissolve the corrosion. Yours are soaking now. If you need them this weekend, I'll send a premade set. Otherwise I usually try to send back the ones you sent me.

I didn't know they were supposed to swivel. I checked the 2 other sets that I have and they don't swivel either. Must be a common problem.
I don't need them this weekend. Maybe next weekend but for sure by the end of the month.

I think I just ran out of switch ports. I don't have the payments in my paypal yet but if you haven't been communicating with me about buying a set, it will probably be a couple weeks before I can make any more of these.

If we have been talking, I have yours set aside for you.

As long as the low side is a #12 hose and the hi side is a #8 hose, no problem. I would need information from your swap in order to get it right.
PM me and let's talk about it.

Where are you guys finding the orings for the fiero end and the compressor end?

I have a set Dennis Lagrua made me a while back. I have a nos 3800 compressor but it didn't have any o'rings with it and my Google Fu must be lacking on the fire wall side fiero lines.

Just get an assortment from Autozone , Advance or O'Reileys. The packages they have here have the flat washer type for the 3800 end as well as the green O-ring type for the Fiero end.
If your compressor has two different size ports, get this one.
MT2550

If your compressor has two ports of the same diameters, get this one.
MT2540

The new batch of fittings has arrived.
Also, I will now be pre-building and packing these in individual shipping boxes, that way when I get an order I can ship the same or next day. I have so many family things going on right now that I can't just stop everything to work on AC hoses at a moment's notice. Some people have had to wait for me to get a chance to build/send their hoses over the past year. For that I do sincerely apologize. Everyone was patient and nobody really complained but in order to send your set without delay, I'm prebuilding them and just refunding the core charge when yours come in. Unless you specifically say so, you won't be getting back the exact cores you send me.

Regular PayPal fees are 2.9% + $0.30: On $175, they take out over $5.50. If you consider me to be "a friend" you can send it without a fee, otherwise these are the different payment amounts.

Set of hoses with switch port, including core charge for both ends: $180. (125+20+30+5)
(This is what you will pay if I haven't received your cores yet.)
Set of hoses with switch port, including core charge for Fiero end: $160. (125+30+5)
Set of hoses with switch port, including core charge for 3800 end: $150. (125+20+5)
Set of hoses with switch port, with no core charge: $129. (125+4)

Set of hoses without switch port, including core charge for both ends: $139. (85+20+30+4)
Set of hoses without switch port, including core charge for Fiero end: $119. (85+30+4)
Set of hoses without switch port, including core charge for 3800 end: $108. (85+20+3)
Set of hoses without switch port, with no core charge: $88. (85+3)

As always, checks, money orders and such are still an option.

Nope. The left is good (Fiero). The right one came from a full size 3800 car. They point the hoses back in the opposite direction from where they need to go. The midsized 3800 cars usually have the right ones.

I will be ordering a set this spring most likely. I do have the cores from the Fiero and from my 3800sc.
I sure hope the OP of this thread is still up for making sets with sensors.
