Is the only difference between the 1 pc and 2 pc rear main seal engines the required flywheel? I'm wondering if this would work with a ZZ4 style crate engine with just a flywheel swap.

it was attached to a SBC 383 Ram Jet, so i'd say Yes.

The only difference in the kit between a 1 pc seal block and a 2 pc seal block is the flywheel. The flywheel I have with the kit is for the 2 pc rear seal. I hope that clears it up.
