I have a 87 Fiero GT and I am looking for front end, front lid, rear engine lid and rear bumper. I`d like to make some modification to the 87 Fiero, however without doing it to the original parts. Living in Europe there is not too many possibilities to find them.
Now I have found 86 model with same kind of front end and the front lid looks like mine. 86 engine lid and rear bumper looks the same. The difference is that the roof is not GT style but short without the sail windows. Is this a 86 GT model? And are those parts I mentioned interchangeable? Have a photo of the 86 car but I don´t know how to attach it
Thanks

the 86 would be a 86 SE with the aero front but if its using a real deal gt decklid then its probably a modified roof. also you see that camera button at the bottom near options and show signature? use that

The 86 notchback that you found is an SE model.

Even though the parts are very similar, they will not work with your GT ......MAYBE.

The differences lie in the belt line molding and the side marker light fitment.
The 86 SE has grooved side molding and marker lights, as well as the grooved molding on the top of the rear fascia.
The front fascia grooved molding piece in front of the side marker light is a separate piece, whereas on your GT it is molded as part of the fascia.

The metal plates attached to the front fenders and rear clip are also different between the two molding designs, however, they are riveted on and can be removed.

I don't know what mods you want to make, but this info should help you determine if the body parts from the 86 SE will work for your project.

Good luck!

Edit to add, the GT and SE use different rear decklids.
The GT has a different design (larger) vent that the SE.

The rear clip (fenders), rear trunk lid, bumpers (Facia), and taillights on the Notchback and Fastback Fieros are different. They must be replaced with the same parts from fastback or Notchback cars. The front fenders, deck lid and doors on both models will interchange with minor modifications

Thank you guys. That was very helpful. Noticed that it is not easy especially I don´t see the parts.
My plan was to make waterfall opening to the front lid like in the GT40. Perhaps open more the front fascia air intake. Now the under body spoiler directs the air to the radiator and then the the air have to decide where to go. Ow yes under the body of course. The first thing it meet is the front x-member. If you look the EV1 chassis, it is like Fiero but the under body is flat and the body itself is more like water drop (coefficient drag value is 0,19). Fiero has about 0,35. That is the reason why I was looking for those parts. In the rear I´d like to have flipping rear lid plus bumper and rear roof. Again like in GT40. There is already a seam to use. Just redesign the roof attachment plus something major.

The GT/SE front end is a bottom breather, the two "intakes" are for styling only.
Air is actually expelled from them at highway speeds.

The air dam under the radiator creates negative pressure behind the radiator so that air flows through it.
