Does anyone have any close up pictures of the 2.5" upper perch coil spring adapters from the RCC Specialists 88 Coilover kit?

I'm referring to the bowl/conical retainer on the left side of the RCC setup below

Is that a very large disc or washer spring?

If anyone has any dimensions that would be great as well, i.e. cone size, slope, diameters etc...

Building a fiero for the Optima Ultimate Street Car challenge and it would be really helpful to utilize standard 2.5" springs in a partial coilover setup vs conicals.

Thanks in advance...

Thank you Larry!

Interested in selling the adapters? Jk

Could you provide the dimensions of the adapter?

1 Od/ID of outer "washer"
2 od/ID and length of tube
3 thickness of the washer
4 thickness of the chord of washer, I.e. The total thickness including conical shape

Thank you

The top part is just for centering the spring over the stock spring perch lip that is formed in the upper cradle spring pocket.

The bevel in in the large washer is to help load the flat area of the crossmember vs. loading just the lip. There are several ways to accomplish that.

Yes, I have a set of the Ryane / Held / Aurrat 88 coil spring adapters. Investigating which is the better solution. A short pipe with internal lip, I. E. Held, or a conical solution like RCC.

The stabilization of the Rcc looks attractive but getting the 88 front suspension frequency up near 2.0hz requires a pretty stiff spring which lends credence to the held design.

Maybe combine the two...

1 Od/ID of outer "washer" - 4.7" x 2.5"

2 od/ID and length of tube - 2.4" x 2.1" x 1.4"

3 thickness of the washer - .140"

4 thickness of the chord of washer, I.e. The total thickness including conical shape - .630"

FWIW I have an 88 Mera with the Held/ \Arraut front coilover setup. Mine had a problem with the springs rubbing on the coilovers, QA1 aluminum body shocks. I tried a couple of different manufacturer springs but still would rub sometimes. I got tired of hearing the rubbing and got a pair of Mustang II conical springs. Worked out great for handling and no noise.
