Does anybody know where this green wire goes to. also what connection is supposed to be at the end of it. someone cut it. IDK what it does but i have a feeling its the reason my car wont turn on. Photos are useful so if you can send those. Its in the engine bay by the battery
Green is usually a coolant sensor / sender wire, look around the thermostat housing for a connector missing / broken wire. Also you have a broken wire on the EGR solenoid.
I should say cut wires, not broken ones.

could you show or tell me where the EGR is. I'm not the best with cars so I dont know much. btw if its broken do you think that is why i dont get power. I seem to have most of the wires hooked up but if i turn the key nothing. the entire car gets no power.
also where is the thermostat housing located on the engine.

Have you verified that your head stud is there? The one the battery negative is supposed to hook up to, if it is and you just didn't want the trouble of squeezing the wires in there, then that's fine. If it is missing or removed, then that MUST be fixed, before attempting to start the vehicle. That should be #1 priority, because if you're missing head bolts, then they need to be replaced.

nope, its just a hole with threads in it. someone took it out before me for whatever reason
do you think you can find a link for that stud G501. I tried looking online but didn't find much.

thx ima have to look at it later. still gotta go to ACE for some nuts. NAPA closed at noon.
Guys. The car turned on yessss. Not the engine though because its not hooked up properly. I first noticed cause the jump starter was loosing power. Then out of no where the hazards turned on. I got them stuck yesterday so the hazards just stay on. We had to shut it off cause the steering column was getting hot. idk what is causing that. If you know let me know. Also the nuts I asked for are not metric and are not fine threads. We went to ACE and none of them fit. Its standard size. I do have one question as well. Where is the button for the window. The first thing I tried doing was rolling up my window just to find out the button isn't on the door.
