I need nuts or bolts for 3 things on my 86 Fiero V6. What is the size for the oil dipstick tube to hook it to the engine, negative battery cable to hook it to the engine, and the size to hook up the ground strap to the frame. I have no idea which are bolts or nuts so ill need those with the sizes. I'll go to ACE later to buy these once I know the sizes needed.

I saw that but was a bit confused. in the photo there's 2 types. I wanted the copper coded one cuz it looks nicer but didn't see a option to choose, or do I get both wires on one is for something else

hello so I do have a problem. we got the bolt today, still need to put it on. But I don't have the nut. NAPA said that nut size doesn't exist. are you sure you measured it correctly. It was M11x1.5

another problem I'm hoping you know. so we got the bolt in but the nut would be useless. the stud to the negative is missing. i talked to my dad tho. instead of getting a stud and a nut why not another bolt. if you can get the size for the studs then we should be able to get bolt to fit it

If there is no available stud to use on the engine, just bolt the negative battery cable to an unused tapped hole (of a similar diameter to the original OEM stud) on the head or block.

Most of the metric nuts and bolts can be ordered on Amazon or Ebay. Yes, the M11x1.5 nut is available. Most local hardware stores and auto supply stores won't carry all the nuts and bolts for the Fiero.

so what would the size be for the bolt. the size you listed in for a nut but I need a bolt instead because there is no stud for a nut. I also need the length so it goes in fully with a negative battery cable and ground strap.

No, my picture is not of the correct point, and I said that the first thread I used it in, you can see the correct point lower down, red circle in my image here. My Fiero cannot use that because the aftermarket head studs aren't long enough to attach the ground cable. I instead put it in a different place that wasn't occupied, over an exhaust port. The correct place must be there, it is a head bolt, if it isn't there, then you need to figure out why and dig deeper. If you are missing head studs, then you need to get a set, can't just go to the hardware store for those. It is really really awkward to get to the head stud, but it certainly should be there, if it is there but you don't use the stud part, or whatever, then you can put the cable where I did, over the exhaust port, in which case I'm not sure if there's supposed to be a bolt there originally or not, I think there was and it holds the bracket that the dipstick bolts to, so if that bolt was missing, then the bracket may be askew, and that would have made the dipstick hard to line up.
