dorman door striker 38421 is a little thicker and fixed my door rattle.throw away the plastic roller and use the fiero washers.it worked perfect on my car.someone told me to use this and its great so far.

I did that striker bolt swap also. I think that Help number listed is for Ford products.
Along with the striker bolt change, it’s a good idea to also ensure your door hinge pins are not worn out. This is a common issue, especially on the drivers side. Rodney sells a door hinge pin replacement kit. A door spring compressor will be needed to get it done. Kit

i had already changed the pins and bushings this year with parts from the fiero store.i managed to get one spring back in before the compressor i bought from tfs bent too badly to get the other one back in.
