Hi,
passinger window worked well but when I tried lowering it today it went down an inch or two and stopped. it goes up back OK, it sound like the stopege is mechanical, I am not sure, please see the attached video, now I have an issue, I can't disassemble the window since it needs to be in the lower poison to do so. any idea?

you need to pull off the door panel and look for problems.you might need to clean out all the hardened grease and regrease with lithium.

Thanks, but it something I would very much like to avoid, it's a ferrari 308 replica, the external panels are highly modified

Remove the inner door panel, NOT the external door skin.

Rodney's Note about Power Window Issues:

quote
Rodney Dickman:
Many things contribute to slow electric windows. All the electrical connections (starting at the battery) degrade over time, corrode etc. If the dew wipes are hard that can make them go slower. Wiring connections degrade over time. Switches get dirty. The tracks get full of dirt and the grease turns into putty. One can take everything apart and clean and relube everything.
