Hello everyone. Im trying to buy parts of this guy from Instagram, and paypal won't let me send money to him because they suspect it's a scam. I was just curious if anyone has bought parts from this guy before ajd if he's legit. Thanks
I would not send my money to an unknown vendor as you may get screwed, The legitimate parts dealers are Tom Derr, Wayne Renninger, and Larry Hubbart. Mike Valentine should also be in this group but he seems to have temporarily stopped doing business. You can also try some high rated sellers on eBay and the Fiero Store. Are those the Mecam (sp?) side scoops? I saw a pair of those for sale in the "For Sale" section... the guy came on here to see what they're worth. Maybe the same guy?
Are the scoops you are looking at silver in color? That ad has been posted on Farcebook probably a half dozen times in as many weeks. The price is always really decent, but the guy seems to never answer questions. Then the ad disappears and gets reposted, shortly after. Sketchy AF. I wouldn't send him any money.

Sounds like the same guy. I sure wouldn't send him any money that doesn't offer a "recovery method". Best to just go in person, if you're local. Or just wait, and find some others.
