Hey guys, I have seen a few threads on what springs to use of the rear of 88 cars, but I am currently struggling to source any of the options I have seen. My local part stores have no stock options even available. I am also currently trying to work on a crunch, having the car run and drive by Friday night to get to a Local car show Saturday. Not seeing any options for rear springs is kinda throwing a big ol' wrench in my plans.

Any help or sources y'all know of that may be able to ship quick would be a great help.

P.S. I currently have a 85 parts car;
A little background: when taking the 88 apart I did not realize that the 88 rear springs/struts were different from the 84-87 ones and I had a brand new set on my parts car. With out actual measurements they looked close enough to being the same and foolishly tossed the stock 88 setups. I have seen that it may be possible to use the front springs and cut them to work in the rear of my 88. Is this a good idea since I'm only adding the weight of a 3800 not a SBC?

I have new spring mounting plates ordered and I'm hoping to get them Thursday of Friday. Is this all I would really need? Do the springs from the 84-87 springs work or is the upper diameter to large?

???

The '84-'87 rear springs will definitely not work on an '88.
