well i cant hardly find any of the bits i want and needless to say much less the measurements and apparantly the user who was making a new one hasnt posted since 2019? ( black pegasus) if someone can get me roughish measurements im gonna try to make a 3d print file with the spare time i have an excess of while waiting for parts for my gt. i have most of the information i need to find a suitable amp and possibly even integrate it into the box with some slight modifications. just need rough measurements to start with to get a file going before i measure a few of my fieros to see just how big i could make it

i got a soda box cut up (manual CAD lol.) to fit so im gonna start modeling just the basic box and see if i can size the lower end around the stock speaker to cheat a bit. i do have some mini amps that are easy to get i can absolutely bolt to the side using a 4 inch sub woofer so far
edit. i HATE the new fusion 360 but they made my old version non functional so guess ill be finding a new cad program very soon since its awful to do pcb work now (i got maybe 20 minutes into the other project and gave up just gonna flat scan and model right over the top later
however. this may fit, i was using an old parts manual and the carboard for a general fit up before i make it stronger and much much better looking and add the mounting brackets. also needless to say i can absolutely fit the amp in there no problem as this should fit a few amps i have laying around from a scrapped s10, and the hole is for a 5.25 woofer but ill resize or make an adapter cone for it since this will sit a little above the bottom of the ac duct anyways so i have the space to fit a larger one at least. also got some stuff ordered to make the sliding potentiometer work since its just a 20k pot, wondering if a gear rack might tuck up a little better since i have no idea how big the one i ordered is but i have a feeling ill be doing something much different

Let me see where I have measurements but if I remember, Sysnthesis made a custom box for under the dash that fit in the stock location and entended across the lower dash for more air volume. I have to find the images.

this is also immensely helpful. i still want mine below the dash but thats my preference so ill make the models for the bare boxes and see if i can get a switch modeled up that looks right so i can get a kit out there for the people who want them.
again much appreciated for the measurements of a different style of box ill get on modeling it up in a few hours

Also see this thread. He made a 10" enclosure with built in amp BUT he doesn't have air conditioning so he has more room under the dash. His airbox is smaller. This was from 2024 so I'm sure you can ask him for measurements and go from there.

the aftermarket enclosure model is done. gotta wait for more filament unless i want to print it on the resin printer in 50 pieces (please dont make me) and then ill get both printed and fitted in a fiero (with ac) to get an idea of what is gonna be an issue. im probably going to be using a micro amp but its 100 watt per channel which is massively overkill but fine. i expect im going to have an issue making the pot control what i want with the amp i chose (not exactly copying the oem function because im pretty sure with twice the power going through it im gonna be playing with a time bomb) ill figure it out
