Hello folks

I broke the pin that connects my clutch pedal to the banjo. I believe I have a rodney MC. Pedal seems fine,

The broken part looks like is made of brass. Can anyone help me find a replacement part or part number?

thanks

I'm fairly certain Rodney has those.

Thanks. Do you think this is the item? Not quite sure

"clutch arm banjo bushing"? Basically my clutch pedal has disconnected from the banjo currently.

That's a bit confusing as the bushing may be made of brass oilite, but the pin sticking out of the (factory) pedal is definitely made of steel.

Looks like the pin on the pedal separated from the banjo, and the bushing looks a little bit damaged, so i ordered a new one from rodney

Any suggestions on how to install the bushing? Looks straightforward, but I do not see any split ring or cotter pin or any other device to "keep" the 2 of them attached once I press them together. Is it just a press fit with the new bushing and push the pedal pin in there, nothing else?

thanks

No. From the link I posted look at the pictures. The "pin" has a threaded stud that goes through the clutch pedal with a nut to secure it, on the other end, the bushing slides over, the banjo slides over and they are secured by a cotter pin.

Yes, if cam-a-lot has the early style, then get the pin with the brass bushing, if the late style, just get the pin.

Does anyone have a photo of the clutch pedal on 87 or 88 actually attached? I do not have a hole on mine for a cotter pin. Not sure if I am missing something? Seems like the two just push together.

The cotter pin goes through the end of the pin that the banjo slides over, see the pictures vintage nut posted about the Rodney pins, that is how it should look like, banjo slides on pin, cotter pin goes through hole in end of the pin the banjo is on now.

We'd like to see a photo of yours! Not having a hole for the cotter pin seems bizarre. How did the banjo stay on your pedal all these years?
