It is time for me to start looking new tires, as mine are beginning to show dry rot.
After extensive research, it appears that due to the 15in wheel, tire options for the fiero are limited to high treadwear all-seasons, overpriced 'classic' tires, or the pirelli p6000.
I cannot find any sort of middle-road 300ish treadwear performance tire anywhere.

This being said I am heavily considering getting a set of 16in wheels in order to increase my odds of finding tires now and in the future, as the selection will be much larger.
I really love the way the stock gt wheels look, the 'lace' pattern wheel face I believe it is called.

My question is does anybody know about a oem production looking wheel, or even some sort of decent lace/snowflake faced wheel that is 16in?
I know I am being quite picky but I generally do not like the look of aftermarket wheels on any car, especially the fiero.
Any advice/sources/ideas/places to look would be greatly appreciated.

What tires have you been running?
I truly haven't found anything other than economy all seasons with no performace, BF Goodrich's or the P6000, none of which are really what I'm looking for.

I swapped my Fiero approx' 15 years ago to 16 x 7 wheels.....researching performance tires, I found that two sizes were commonly used on numerous popular cars back in the 90s; 205/55 and 225/55-16s....so there is- and will continue to be- a large selection of performance tires in those sizes.

I went with VOXX Monza wheels- which are beautiful and >>Light<<...sadly they heard that I liked them so stopped making them!

As far as tire selection, I went with General G-max All-season tires...they are lighter than most competitor tires, and rate highly in comparison tests at Tire-rack.....

Here is a pic of my car with those tires/wheels....

Might want to see about tire availability in the sizes you want to run, 16" sizes seem to be getting more limited. 17" will generally give you more choices, but again, depends on what size / tire type you desire.
