I'm in the process of installing an S10 Booster with Rodney's adapter. Well I ordered the wrong size which is not a problem because I had it turned down 3/8" on the lathe at work. When I go to attach it to the brake pedal it beyond the post by about 1/4" I would say and yes I pulled the pedal out as far as it would go. My question is do you need to remove the nut that came threaded on the S10 arm? Thanks

I believe that nut locks the position of the brake booster adapter in place at the proper length,

I just did a test fit without the nut, and screwing the adapter all the way down, it lined right up to the pin on the pedal with the pedal pulled all the way out. Going to loctite it on and keep on eye on it for movement. Thanks for the input.

Surprised that the adapter had to be fit to the rod that way but with Loctite on the threads its probably secure. Did you reuse the oldFiero Booster brackets on the new booster?

Yep, I reused the bracket from the original booster.
