So wanted to see what options are left out there for lowering springs? Or do I go with lowering ball joints? Looks like West Coast offers a front spring for my 1988? Are my only rear options to go coil over conversion?

We have had great success on the 88's by cutting the front and rear springs.

I cut my 88's front springs by one coil.

If you want a slightly stiffer spring, you can also use earlier Fiero GT front springs in an 88. I did that with another of my cars. Cut 1.25 coils.

I built some quasi-coilovers for the rear, using cut down front springs, but there are several really good coilover kits available. Really doesn't seem worth the trouble.
