The K swap is moving along and has been going quite smoothly, I am just about ready to get the engine back in the car.

Now Im starting to think about interior wiring. I bought an Instrument panel because I needed one anyway to run the engine on a stand, and I didnt want to go through rewiring the ignition switch on the fiero. My only question is where should I put it ?

I was thinking about where the radio is but I want to keep the radio. and I cant really figgure out where I want to put it.

help pls thanks

Make the mounting plate smaller, adjust locations of switches, put the power window switches on there, stuck out in where the window switches are (I don't think you could fit the mirror switch, if you have power mirrors)

Custom center console, put it in front of the shifter. I'm in the process of building such a custom console, hoping to put a cup holder or two in it, AND a few more switches...

Only issue I have with putting it on the center console is this thing is gonna be a manual, and I dont wan to accidentally switch the main off when shifting. I might just throw the plate out and just mount the switches and buttuns in different spots.

It wouldn't work for the larger switches, but I hot glued some switches in my driver's ashtray, hidden, but easily accessable at any time.

If your Fiero doesn't have the rally gauge pod, you could install the pod and install your switches there.
