Anybody find a drop in replacement fan for an 84? Mine has a warped fan, and bad motor. I came accros a youtube video of a guy swapping out an 87 fan, and he found one at AutoZone that was an exact fit, ....all that was needed was to clarify the pinout, and move the connector. ....actually, I think he just butt connected, ....I will try and keep my original connector in play.
Again, just checking to see what others have come up with.
After that, I will have to tackle the power headlight motors, and, ..a parasitic battery drain.

Thanks in advance for the read, and any replies anyone takes the time to post!

Hi, the motors can be had pretty cheap (brand new) on Rock Auto if you're interested in replacing that, but if you're looking for the fan blades itself, there are a few good used ones on eBay. You can also go to Mike's Fiero Parts (www.onlyFieros.com ... e-mail is on the page), or the Fiero Factory http://www.TheFieroFactory.com)

Can't say I know of a drop in replacement but Rockauto shows an option*. If you have AC that changes things as the 84 has a fairly large 1 ohm resistor if memory serves me right. I had some success getting one several years ago at a salvage yard.

As far as the fan goes I thought they were standard hub/similar across the years, not just Fieros.

Good luck in your search.

Thank you for those replies!
Mine does have factory A/C, and I will eventually want to restore it's functionality. The ball is in my court now, and I just need to pull mine out, and really look into why it spins and hits, ...it appears to be warped, ...a closer look will tell. The Holley Sniper has fan control, ..two outputs in fact. I'm wondering if the factory cooling fan relay is in the back engine compartment, ...this would make it very easy for me to integrate the Sniper fan control as it's harness is there as well.

Thanks again for the replies,

Aaron
