Hey all, I'm looking to get an NRG Innovations short hub and quick release adapter for my 84, but I really like the look of the stock steering wheel. Is there any modifications to the wheel that would need to be done for it to fit on the the quick release hub? Would it even be safe to do so? Or should I cut my losses and just buy a wheel meant for a QD mount?

Any help is appreciated.

If you have the skill, you can drill the holes in the stock steering wheel.
I'm worried that the quick release will make it too close to your body.
