Wondering if there is a stripper or mechanical means of removing this edge paint around the front and rear windows. I tried a double edge blade in a typical blade holder and basically got nowhere. Anybody got any ideas? I'm trying to mount a longer plasma 3rd brake light and the existing "opening" in the dot matrix for the standard 3rd brake light is only the size of the stock light.

It's basically part of the glass, it will not come off. I tinted windows for 20 years, that dot matrix is on there forever....

Plus any chemical can/will get on edges & any laminate layer(s) like in windshields & some new side glass will Hate you turning colors, fog, or worse even if you clean immediately.

the plastic will absorb a lot of thing & how most tinted windshield are made.
