One thing that may be worth looking into is the Bosch Gen2 IBosters, it's an electronic booster that's used on newer Honda's and Tesla's. If I remember correctly there wasn't anything too fancy about wiring it up, power, ground, and I think a controller to tell it how much "assist" you want.

If the answer is no and you're dead set on a hydro booster, try using a Volvo PS pump. It's basically just a small electric PS pump that can be placed up front instead of running lines all the way up to the rack
