Would a 99 Lasabre 4T65e trans with a 2.86 ratio be ok in a 3800 swap in a 87 gt

depends on what you want to do...

That will like/love Highway driving a lot to get high MPG but not so much for drag racing & related.

Thanks' That's what I thought. It's going to be more of a Cruiser anyway so I guess I will use it.
