I came across this limited slip differential the other day. Is anyone using one of these?

https://www.dormanproducts....n=Rear&drivetype=RWD

There's also another version (probably a Chinese knock-off) is out there for $200-$300.

The "detailed application" list doesn't mention the Fiero at all, unless I missed it.
Regardless, it looks like a typical RWD (live axle, differential type) LSD, as opposed to something that might fit into a Getrag.

Sorry. Thanks for looking out, though.
You might look up Engineered Performance for limited slip Getrag stuff. Assuming he (Jeff Ianatello) is still doing them.
I've got one in a T-550 (aka Beretta Getrag). It works.

I've never seen a Fiero Getrag diff. Just saying, this is what the listing says.

Looks like the website just lumped everything that was RWD as having a 10-bolt rear-end solid rear axle... oh well.

You have to watch Dorman Application Lists.
Many lists have wrong data for vehicles a part will fit or not.

In this case, the description in page tells won't fit in FWD trans that all Fiero have even 99% of engine swap have.

Application Notes:
Rear; RWD; 10 Bolt Differential Cover; 2.76 Rear Axle Ratio and Greater; 28 Spline; 8.5 In. Ring Gear; w/ RPO Code G80 (Positraction/Limited Slip)

Next part of page is mostly same.

If you bother to read more of the App list...
Fist clue has wrong data is seeing a List has Trucks & Chevrolet Camaro listed w/ Fiero for a rear axle part.

Unlike you, Ogre has a clue. If you don't want opnions, don't post questions on an internet forum. I am not mechanically savvy, but even a dumbass like me knows that if this LSD is listed to work with RWD applications... with engines in the front... it won't work on a Fiero. DUH!
