Anyone know off hand the proper name or part# of this gasket on my 86GT auto? I couldn't find it on FieroStore or Rockauto - I searched for "air filter housing gasket" (it sits right under the housing).

I imagine it's just a cork-style gasket though... I took the housing off to get to the relays behind it easier and thought I'd replace this gasket while I was at it.

I just used the filter and traced one out on some gasket material.

The parts manual doesn't specify that gasket. It lists that entire bracket assembly. I would go to an auto parts store and pick up a roll of paper gasket material and cut your own.

I am laughing my butt off because yesterday my wife and I took ours out to clean and paint (it looks much better in silver by the way!) and I had the very same question!!! I made a gasket out of duct tape for now but I now know where to get one! Thanks for the excellent question!!!!
