Happy 4th!

Which red sparkplug wires do you guys recommend? Had been using STI from the Fiero Store, but it looks like they no longer sell them. All stock V6.

They will but I'm sure you know that everyone has their own opinion about spark plug wires. A lot of members on here run those exact cables with no issues. The only complaint (and it might already have been addressed by Taylor), is that the coil wire is too long so it looks like crap.

I really appreciate your help with this. Researched the Taylor wires but went back and forth on whether I needed (or wanted) that thick of a wire. This morning I bought replacement STI’s from the Fiero Store. Previous set I purchased from them lasted 8 years…that’s pretty good for wires that bake under that hood. They’re black, won’t look as nice as the red ones, but at least I’ll be able to cruise w/o a misfire.

I use the ones from MSD.... They come as a universal set (eight wires + a coil wire, for V8s) and you have to cut them to length and crimp on the ends. I like them because I could use great care to make sure they all "droop" the same amount instead of hanging all randomly.

Very nice, CSS. I may go that route in the future...I really prefer the look of red wires, but as it turns out, the Fiero Store let me know that my wires have a lifetime warranty on them so they're replacing the STI's for the cost of shipping. Can't complain about that.

I just checked and after shipping and tax for me it was $80.53 from carid for these.

For slightly less out the door price than carid, for you can get perfect length Taylor 8mms from Fierogear.

https://fierogear.com/shop/...or-spark-plug-wires/

$79.99 but includes tax and shipping; and no floppy spark plug wires or super long distributor coil wire like the regular Taylor kit.

They also have custom cut wires for other engines if you've done a swap.
