I was comparing RPO codes on 4 x 88GT's. I noticed 2 have a code YT1 and 2 do not. 3 are gray and 1 is beechwood so it has nothing to do with the color.

YT1 is listed as "Build up, custom door and quarter panel".

What does this mean exactly and what would be the alternative to this code? i.e. If an 88GT doesn't have this, is there an alternate code which it would have instead with a different trim code?

None of the 4 88 GT's have any difference I can tell on the door panels or the quarter panels (all doors have pockets and power windows and mirrors from the factory).

Do all the other RPO codes make sense? I mean, do the differences in the other RPO codes reflect actual differences in the cars?

Does that apply to door decals?

Everything else makes sense to me. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the audio system. The description wouldn't indicate so, but the only thing that in consistent is the two with the code have the subwoofer system RPO and the equalizer radio RPO, while the two that don't have the cassette RPO code.
