I am pretty sure there is no plug & play solution, you have the assemble a modified distributor, or pay someone to do it for you.

If my memory is correct, you gut the stock 4.9 caddy housing, then you buy a 307 olds vacuum advance distributor for all the guts (it needs to be a reverse rotation setup vs. the SBC). You install the olds guts into the caddy distributor and cut down the shaft to the proper length. Probably a few more finer details, but overall that is what it takes. I followed the instructions below and did this sometime in the 2002 or 2003.

Edit: along the lines of paying someone to build it for you:

Carburetors went obsolete on vehicles 40 years ago. What don't you like about efficient fuel injection; a constantly adjusting system that optimizes spark, fuel and engine performance?

Not MY CAR. owner wants it "simple". 1 wire dist, carb (no wires or computer). just because something is 40 years old does not make it "bad". if it was Holley and edelbrock would be out of business. all my cars (owned them for 50 years each ) have carbs and 1 wire HEI. no electrical problems. not looking for MPG or emissions. everyone has a preference.

To add to that, you can also run a bigger cam because of the ability to change the AFR with jets in the carb. The computer for this motor is very limited. Delta Cams makes grinds for this scenario.
