The plastic seat belt guides on the sides of the Fiero seats often break where the tabs are, due to putting pressure on them as a person exits the car. Once the tab breaks the guide has more outward movement, and eventually the plastic guide will break away at the mounting screw locations.

I did a quick easy fix this weekend on both seats that worked pretty good and only took about 20 minutes...

- took a file to smooth down the plastic area where tab broke off
- used a universal coil bracket with holes at ends from parts bin and cut the ends off with Dremel
- filed the rough cut edge on homemade holding tab till it was smooth
- positioned homemade holding tab in place with magnet and marked the plastic through the hole
- drilled the holes slightly smaller than the 2 automotive trim screws I found in parts bin
- installed the new homemade holding tabs with the trim screws

Holds its nice and tight and might be stronger than the original plastic tab...
