runs fine when cold. when warmed up and starting, it stalls when putting into gear. once cooled down its fine again
could it be the TCC connector? why would this not be a problem when cold?

in some cars i think, the torque converter does not lock up when cold. Im not sure if the fiero does this, but if so, it could be ignoring the TCC signal until it gets warm, and when it does it is telling the car to lock up always.

it also stalled out when warmed up and going into reverse. Could the TCC even be engaged in reverse?

Seems to me the simplest thing to do to rule out the TCC is to unplug it and see what happens!
