I was looking through fuel pump applications on Rock Auto and I'm a bit confused. I found the following:
Using Delphi Pumps across the board:
Fiero V6 = FE0039: GP = 26, max pressure=87, PSI=50
https://www.rockauto.com/en...9208&pt=6256&jsn=60787-91 Sunbird L4 Turbo = FE0113: GP = 20, max pressure=71, PSI=44
https://www.rockauto.com/en...0852&pt=6256&jsn=67189 Trans Am V6 Turbo = FE0110: GP = 22, max pressure=70, PSI=44
https://www.rockauto.com/en...1571&pt=6256&jsn=5491) So what am I missing here? Why is a Fiero fuel pump higher rated than a trans am turbo?
2) Why are the Sunbird Turbo (2.0L) and Trans Am Turbo (3.1L) nearly the same?
3) What pump are people that are turboing their stock 2.8L going to or is there even a need if the stock Fiero pump flows more than a stock Trans Am turbo pump?
