I recently pulled the engine on my 84 se with AC and noticed the cooling fan switch is broken (plug broke off the sensor). the fan relay was bridged by the previous owner, I imagine this is why. I can not find a replacement ANYWHERE. I found an old forum from 2010 saying there was one on rockauto, there isn't anymore. I can't find it from any auto parts store either. where is this switch?

84 was the only year that had a 2-speed fan and used that particular switch with 2 settings.
Many people convert to a single speed as later years had.

While at it, they get the 210F 'fan on' switch instead of the factory 235F.

alright, I suppose I'll do that then. if I'm doing that and since the relay is already bridged and removed, I'll just splice in a new relay. thank you!
