Hey guys, quick question here, I just ordered rodney's select cable the other day and I installed it and it's still quite hard to push to go over to 1&2 and 5&R. I am wondering (since there is a pretty tight bend where it goes over the crossover pipe) is it supposed to go BELOW the crossover pipe? Because I put it over it, the heat insulation on the cable is being squeezed between the pipe and the cable. Thank you!!

There's a diagram that's been posted here many times over the years that shows the correct routing of the cables. If you can't find it using the Search function, perhaps someone will post it here again.

Shift cable goes over the crossover pipe, not select cable.
Select cable goes between firewall and heat shield and down to side of exhaust downpipe as shown.

That diagram looks very familiar.
