3.8 coolant flow direction by ttt123

Hopefully a basic question and sorry if it’s an annoying one. I am trying to find out which way the coolant flows through the 3.8 motor does it come in or out of the thermostat elbow or in and out of the water pump elbow..

I’ve searched online and the only thing that comes up is a few pictures from here on Pennocks from a long time ago that explain the heater core hoses but nothing for the water pump or thermostat.. please help

Always OUT of the thermostat outlet end of an engine to the radiator.
