Good Evening, All,

I am going to have to remove the door skins on my '88 GT to do some work on the windows.

I know there are several rubber covered torx sheet metal screws on the leading edge of the doors.

I will be blessed if I can find these screws in the 22p, And TFS has none, and they have been discontinued.

Since I must work in my driveway I want to minimize the time I have to cover the naked doors, so I want to order stainless button head sheet metal screws BEFORE I begin disassembly.

Does anyone know the size and length of those blasted screws???

Please?

TIA,

Larry

The ones on front and back of the door skins?
T30.

And is a bolt not sheet metal or other self threading.

Problem is many a stuck/frozen to the "nut" from rust.
Might be able to snake a spray tube under the plastic and use BP baster etc. and wait for it work work. Expect hours to days to wick in and work.

WOW!

Thanks ever so much, Guys! I am truly surprised that they are machine screws!

Those will be much easier to source as stainless button head cap screws, too. (I always replace my hardware with that type of fastener when I can!) I have had very good luck with fastenere.com, BTW.

Anyway, thanks to all!

And warm regards,

Larry
