Mahle head gasket orientation by Lilchief

Putting my 3.4 together and the head gaskets aren't marked for what's top/up. There is 2 little strips of metal that runs from one cylinder to the other, only on one side. That's the only difference I see. Any advise ?

Which Mahle gasket are you using? The one I see listed on Summit Racing for the 3.4 V6 has "this side up" stamped on it.

Thanks Blacktree. This side up is not on my head gaskets. But I can match the odd holes at the bottom and get it right. Are you ready for the hurricane . My yellow 88 is in Leesburg. Hope it survives. Thanks for the help.
