Where the heck is it? I've replaced it once before, but my chronologically challenged brain can't remember where it is? I don't see it on the fuse block under dash, and my buddy that's out of town has my manuals...

Thanks Gall, but this is showing me that the 'Batt' fuse powers the cig lighter plug, but everything else on this circuit works...Maybe I'll have to get into the wiring. I need the plug for my GPS...You would think that being the amperage it handles would warrant it's own fuse. Could there be an in-line fuse on the wire that plugs into the back of the plug?

There is no inline fuse, only the fuse in the box under the left hand side of the dash. Squeeze the long tabs together on the sides and it swings down.

Could just be the lighter socket, or perhaps the charger plug isn't getting a good connection.

Okay guys, thanks for the help. It's all fixed, after extensive trouble shooting, and a few choice words. Lesson 101 Installing new Fiero shift select cable: When reinstalling center console DO NOT FORGET TO PLUG THE GROUND WIRE BACK IN TO THE CIGAR LIGHTER...I'm thinking about jumping off the Grand Island bridge, but I probably won't...

Not to worry RPYRAZOO. I'm still here. This goes to show you to check basics. Do I have power and GROUND?
