Anyone know any ways to test a Fiero ECM, its not throwing codes cars acting up misfires and after fire at steady power when driving, doesn't miss on acceleration. (V6 2.8) all ignition is new. Had issues with ignition components prior now cars driving, just cant be driven consistent..

even with all ignition parts being new, it could be a bad ground. connector, or wire. New parts are not necessarily good parts. If your SES light goes on when you turn the key, chances are good that the ECM is working.

First read my Cave, HE Ignition and Ground "Myth" notes
Yep Many problems are cause by wiring and grounds but many never understand common problem just in the ignition like just 1 crap screw can make big problems or kill the ICM.

After check HEI and other wiring (Wire Service and rest of section) and still have problems...
Need to check for iffy EGR or even fuel problems as both can fake ignition problems.

Ok yeah i have been checking out your cave and i have checked my grounds, so my car has had a bad egr solenoid prior to this issue but was running fine with its code 32 i believe it was, what ever the solenoid code is but could that be why the car is acting up?
