Curious question - I’m working on a Datsun 280z build for autocross - aaaanyway - I love the dash in that car so much. Does anyone know if it’s a good candidate for a Fiero dash swap? I can get my hands on a used dash fairly easy if it’s not too rough a switch out. Has anyone done it? Looks really curved compared to the Fiero. It anything is possible with time, money and fiberglass ... or is it🤔?
Depends on the width of the z dash and how it mounts vs the fiero dash. You would have to do some fab work to get the ducting to the vents. Anythings possible. You could make one outta fiberglass using the original as a mold if it doesnt fit. The z dash looks great. I was looking into putting a 2015 mustang interior in my 66 stang but the dash was waay to wide and there was nowhere I could have trimmed it down to make it look good, so I went w stock.
