What is the difference between a HR6 (might be a HD6) and a DA6 a/c compressor?
Are they interchangeable?

DA6 is an earlier design HR6, not as reliable. Externally identical, unless the HR6 has one of the switch cavities blocked off. Other major issues with swapping a used HR6 or HD6 are that the clocking of the front or rear of the compressor may be different, so it may not go into a Fiero without re-clocking (and re-sealing).
