Axles are off the shelf from the 1st gen supercharged SS cobalt. Right length, correct spline for the F40 and the jackshaft it uses inboard, and same outer spline as the stock Fiero hubs. Cheap too, like $40ea or something when I got them a few yrs back. It is more or less in the same position as the 2.5L relative to the axles, I think I rolled it forward a little around the axle but not much.

Hoping to get back on it this summer. Had a kid, bought a house. Things are finally settling back down in life that I hopefully will be able to get out and work on it again.
