My little project car had a broken off washer switch, and this is the turn signal arm with the cruise control wire on it. Options were to buy a new stalk, which was pretty pricey. I found Dorman part 49265
Link that solved the problem. This is a "Help item", but older so it is special order. For a total of $10 from Rockauto, i bought it.
Now this is not just a simple consideration. If you pull the factory stalk out, you have to chase the wire down the column...BUT, one cannot simply take a new washer lever sleeve and slide it over the wire for the cruise control. The picture (singular) is enticing, as it looks as if it is split. Alleluia IT IS. The "help item" was a savior. All I had to do was finish breaking off the old part that spun on the wiper arm, then slide this over. Works like a champ!
Great product. Now this was for a cruise control car. I have a non-cruise stalk and it WILL NOT work on that applicatin. But Help is out there!
