My horn quit working due to a part of the blinker cancel cam that became brittle with age and broke. I am unemployed and trying to get the horn working on a budget of zero so I installed a button where the switch for the rear defogger would be if I had one.
I think I remember that the horn button completes the circuit to the ground on the the horn and if that is right, I need only ground one pole of my switch and tie the other pole into the grounding wire for the horn.
I bought the shop manual on CD but it has no wiring schematic. Having rebuilt two Fiero steering columns in the past, I have no desire to disassemble the thing to identify the correct wire.
Can someone please identify the wire under the dash that I need to tap into or even better, show where I can get a wiring schematic for the car. It probably doesn't matter but this one is an 88 5 speed Iron Duke base model.
Thanks,
George

So I need to tap into the black wire leading to the horn relay, where ever that is. Thanks!

The horn relay is on the convenience center, which is usually called 'the blue dingy thingy' (to be found above the knees of the passenger, next to the heater core.
