Need a coolant hose for an 88 GT located in front of right rear wheel - see pic (original hose has a crimp fitting at one end)

That part was sold as an assembly and is no longer available. When I repaired mine I just cut off the factory crimp and replaced the hose with a piece of bulk heater hose from my local auto parts store and a regular hose clamp in place of the factory crimp. Been that way since 2013 without any problems.

Cut the crimp bell off of the hose, being careful not to cut the tube. Remove the hose.
Clean up the corrosion on the end of the tube and install a piece of heater hose.

Exactly what they said. Those crimps can be removed without too much trouble. Just replace with regular hose and hose clamps.

It'd cost a little more, but you could get a mobile hose service to do it and make it look like factory OEM, keeping in the theme of the very clean and neat under carriage you have. According to Yellow Pages, there are 86 such companies in Columbus.
