Fellas,
I tried doing a Search, but could not find what I was looking for? I am trying to make my windows go faster. I understand someone on the Forum recommended a certain type of grease (or lubricant) to use on the regulators to assist them (the) rollers move up and down faster. I want to use the best, GM? or other manufacturer's brand. I dont think white grease is recommended because it will cake over time, then you got to go back in again to clean out all the collection of muck.
Cordially,
kevin
Ps. Wasn't there another Pennock Fiero member who researched other GM regulators that can be cross-interchanged to the '85 Fiero?

Any lube can hold dirt etc...
Door is dirty to start w/ even when the window rubbers are good.

1 big issue is the rollers will "shrink" on the ball tip and won't roll.
Lube then only helps for the short term.

Dorman makes/make new rollers that some pried off dead ones then switch the new ones.

I've used Sil Glyde silicone grease. It worked well.
I use DuPont silicone spray lube on window Tracks.

AC Delco makes a product called Super Lube, part# 12371287 that is used at the dealership I work at for window regulators and various other plastics and rubbers.

But if your plastics in the regulator are worn bad or gone I don't think it would help much.
