I'm in the process of replacing my OEM radio with a Single Din DVD/GPS/Radio Head unit. I have a couple questions regarding the wiring as it relates to the Sub-Woofer wiring. Can anyone provide with the following information?

Question 1.
On the OEM radio connector pin E, two wire go the Sub-Woofer pins 3 & 13. What is the purpose of these wires? I'm thinking power to the Sub-Woofer??

If the purpose of the wires are to power the Sub-Woofer I can address that as the Head Unit I'm installing does not provide for a Sub-Woofer attachment.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks

if you get the wiring adapter to convert your new radio to the stock connections--your sub will work (provided it worked before)--I did that and gave me cleaner sound-- BUT if the radio DOES support a sub those features will NOT work
