I've seen some really neat stuff on here with regards to suspension discussion, along with drawings, etc. Does anyone have an actual model/drawing of the rear knuckle that can be used for mounting points and measurements?

I have access to 3D scanner and CMM/Faro, just trying to see if someone out there already has a model, would make things easier.

I either need to machine the 88 knuckle for a larger bearing, or I'm going to pick up the factory mounting points and fab up a new one. I'm tired of breaking axles due to these tiny stub shafts.

Have you seen this post: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...2/HTML/120747-2.html ?

FieroGuru shows how, in detail, what is required to put S-10 bearings into '88 rears. Might save you from reinventing all of a wheel.

Sure am interested in what you DO decide to do!

I like Jim88's adaptation better (used the large 33 spline bearing):

I did see that. Later in the thread it looks like aaron88 has it modeled but I'm not sure what that is based on. I have used the larger Pontiac Transport parts in a pre-88, and would like to use the same axles in my 88 swapped car.

if you make something, I'd be interested in a set depending on cost and lead time.

oh.... this is what I was thinking as well. Maybe the C6 hub bearing redrilled for the right pattern and a custom axle made. Was thinking of sending a knuckle out for 3d scanning to
