Specs say the relay is rated for 70 amps. Has one battery input terminal, and two high current output terminals with two separate fuses. It appears as though a 2-terminal Delphi Packard Metri-Pack 150 Series connector is required (sold separately) to activate the relay.

Recommended use: newer GM CAN-BUS type ECMs typically have a ECM-controlled PWR/TRN relay that is responsible for powering up all electrical circuits on the engine (coils, injectors, DBW throttle body, etc). In some cases, a standard automotive 30amp relay may be insufficient for this job. This Waytek power module would be great for such an application. It could be used as the PWR/TRN relay to power up all engine circuits (which would need to be protected by their own in-line fuses or a mini-fuse center) instead of trying to make the OEM fuse and relay center from the donor car work in the Fiero swap environment.

I have been using these things for years, they're absolutely great.

On my Fleetwood I used the fused/relayed side to turn the ignition system, airbag system & carb choke with the ignition and the fused side for the airbag's compressor.

On my Falcon I use the fused/relayed side for aux gauges, the EDIS ignition system, and the stereo and the fused side for the radiator fan, horn, and the alarm.

They are fantastic, especially when coupled with the Littelfuse 18-position fuse holder shown on the Fleetwood. It's a very complete, very compact circuit protection system.

Does Waytek also sell that fuse block shown in your picture? Does it have a cover?

Yes and yes, as well as a much larger 60-position version.

Another good option is the 8-position power distribution connector:

You can do neat stuff with it, There is one in the picture of the Falcon above to the right of the battery - there is a sealed clear cover, which in combination with LED fuses (light when blown) make for nice nighttime engine bay troubleshooting, or without a cover a compact multi-fuse holder inside. I used three of them to make an odd-shaped array to replace a dozen glass torpedo fuses:

Here is a closeup of the PRM+fuseholder+bracket on the Fleetwood if you care:

The red wire comes off the relay'd side of the PRM and feeds five circuits on the fuseholder - Pertronix module, coil, choke, airbag controller and the transmission kickdown solenoid. I also used it to hold a diode for the CS130 alternator to prevent it from backfeeding the ignition via the GEN light. That leaves space for a microrelay or three more fuses in the fuseholder if I ever need to add anything else to the car. I *really* love the whole ISO280 format - it sure makes things easy
