I am going to need to replace the rear tires (stock 215 60 R15) on my sons 87GT soon as I made a temporary plug repair to get by. The ones currently in use are tiger paw brand. The fronts are currently Cooper brand CS3 M+S. But the tire shop I got them from, (tire world) did not have the same style in the 215 60 R15 size available anymore. So what have other members used with success to replace all four stock tires lately that offer decent daily use all season wear and performance? Also, where were they purchased and what is the typical price? Thanks in advance for your input. It is frustrating how the 15 inch tires are getting harder to find. Curtis

I have Toyo Extensas on mine. I got them last year at a Tire World in Rochester, NY. I believe they cost about $400-450. I chose them mainly because they had them available same day (I'm not from Rochester

I've put about 25000km on them so far, seem to be holding up fairly well. My car is primarily a daily driver, but they also handled fairly well when I went to Watkins Glen earlier this year.

Just to add: Just like any "All seasons", they are really *three* season tires. They don't handle ice well at all. My other car was having some work done, and I drove the Fiero one morning when the temperature dipped below freezing overnight. Scary. Cobalt's Michelen Defenders are not much better on ice either, though. Nothing replaces a decent set of winter tires.

My son has the CS3's in 225-60-15 on the back of his formula.

Is that size available?

I have Primewell PS 850's all the way around. 225 60 15. Nices tires, about 100.00 each.
I bought them at the local Tires Plus here in Maryland.
