Cordially,

You can hook up another battery through the cigarette lighter (or remove it and connect directly to the wires attached to it) and then pop the trunk.

Is there a you tube video showing me which wires to use? I've never done this before. I would hate to make a BIG mistake😐

There are two wires hooked up to the cigarette lighter. The black wire is ground, and the other wire hooks up to +12V.

EDIT: You could just pick up a trickle charger that plugs directly into the cigarette lighter, then you wouldn't have to worry about getting it wrong...

Go to harbor freight and buy a solar power trickle charger. Comes with two styles of connectors, one is a Cig lighter plug, other is clamps to connect directly to the battery. Use the cig lighter. Should work within a small time frame, hours at most. About $15 and will last a long time. Handy to keep in the car and great for cars that don't see daily use.

I have a charger similar to this. http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/a8a0/ Can quickly open the deck lid with a remote release. Just don't keep it in your trunk. Put it in the front compartment.

Jumper packs often come with cigarette lighter plug cords. Hook one up to a fully charged unit and hit the trunk button.
