I'm replacing the sunroof real, so far so good, got the old one out, and the cleaned the track. The new one seems like it will fit just fine. What are people's experience with using some sort of cement, or glue? I'm inclined to use just a little, maybe a bead all the way around in the middle of the channel. What do you think? Someone already put drain holes in it. Is the sealant to keep water out, or just to keep the rubber molding from moving?

I put mine back in without any adhesive or glue. It's working just fine without it.
