Does anyone know what modifications have to be made to the radiator support and brackets for the installation of the champion radiator from Ledfoot Racing part # CC828?

When I installed mine it was bigger than the stock one but it did fit. You may have to shave down the rubber hold downs a bit with a razor but other than that it's good

The radiator I'm installing is a three core type and I've been told some modifications have to be made. I was just looking for some input from anyone who has used this particular radiator.

I have the 3 core. Like I said just have to play with the rubber a bit and squeeze it in there. Mine has been in there 3 years without a problem

As mentioned you need to cut the rubber mounts down a little bit. You may also need to enlarge the hole for the fill neck, in the upper bracket.

The filler neck area from the stock bracket is a little smaller than the new neck on the radiator. I had to take my Dremel and cut it open a little more for fitting... I don't remember cutting the bottom rubber on mine though

I did this a few years ago and do not remember cutting anything on a rubber bumper. There was some mild work on the upper bracket but nothing else. This was for a three core champion. I had a set of installation instructions that I will post if I can find them.

This instruction sheet originally came from the old V8 Archie site IIRC and has written instructions as well as pictures. It is not on the new web site but I think that I may have it on one of my laptops. If so I will e-mail the instructions to you.

Nelson

I just located the procedure and e-mailed it to you. Feel free to thank V8 Archie and post it here if you want. I did not want to try and deal with a mixed photo and text document tonight.
